How Long???

 I recently came across a post on Instagram by @sococreative_ that speaks about which instances you should use short copy versus long copy. I found it highly interesting and helpful as a beginner! Short and long describe the length of the actual copy in words. It basically explains that if a customer has a lot invested in the purchase, that long copy is the way to go. In a different situation where a purchase is seen as less of a big deal, that you can use short copy. To me this makes a lot of sense, because if I were considering a big purchase or an emotional one, I would definitely appreciate more information about the product and the company or brand I’m buying from. It would take that copy to do the convincing. If the purchase is, let’s say a new drink at a popular coffee shop, all I would really need to know about it is the name of it.
